Celebration of diplomatic relations

Celebrating 65 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and China

After the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, Denmark was among the first countries in the world to recognise the new Chinese government, establishing diplomatic relations with China on 11 May 1950. Since then, relations between Denmark and China have only grown stronger and deeper.
To further strengthen relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Central Denmark Region, The City of Aarhus and higher education institutions in the region cordially invite you to celebrate 65 years of successful Sino-Danish diplomatic relations.
The event offers the opportunity to share and discuss how Danish and Chinese education, research and business supported by national and local authorities can develop even closer collaboration in the future for the benefit of both nations.
Throughout the day, keynote speakers and panel discussions in carefully selected workshops will be presenting current Sino-Danish collaboration on education and cutting edge research relevant to the future development of both Denmark and China. Before and after the workshops there will be ample opportunities to network with participants from Denmark and China.
